Hunn Amplification is dedicated to the highest quality tube amplifier construction, restoration, modification, upgrades, and maintenance.  For a guitar player growing up in Texas, having great guitar tone was not a suggestion, it was a requirement. While studying to become an audio engineer at The University of Texas at Austin, I took full advantage of the musical talent that surrounded me.  I engineered or assisted on recordings for artists and ensembles including Eric Johnson, Chris Duarte, Austin Symphony Orchestra, Austin Lyric Opera, and various UT jazz and classical ensembles.  After a brief stint at Apple Computer, In 2000 I moved to Washington, DC to be a Broadcast Engineer & Technical Director at National Public Radio.  It was there that I had the good fortune to work with artists including Derek Trucks, Bonnie Raitt, Vince Gill, John Mayer, Brad Paisley, Johnny Hiland, Gillian Welch, and Joe Bonamassa.  Adding my experience as an engineer and musician to the process of building and repairing tube amps and effects, I have developed an uncompromising dedication to tone, reliability, and quality workmanship.
